Ten cities and towns have rebelled against Shizuoka Governor Heita Kawakatsu's refusal to allow construction to begin in the prefecture on the Linear Shinkansen Line.
They visited MLIT and asked for the active involvement of the national government in the talks between the prefecture and JR Tokai from now on.
The cities and towns, distrustful of Shizuoka Prefecture's delay in negotiations, seek to accelerate discussions.
