We had a session of the 117th Niimi English Salon at Gakujutsu Koryu Center on the 18th January.
The guest speaker for this session was Mats Dahl, a Norweigian student of Okayama-ken Kyosei High School.
Homare Oyama, an English teacher of OKayam-ken Kyosei High School acted as an interpreter for him.
Mr. Dahl told us about his home country, Norway, showing many beautiful pictures of the scenery in the Scandinavian country.
After the presentation, he taught us some basic Norweigian expressions.
One of the expressions we learned that evening is:
Mitt navn er Kiyoshi Yamauchi (My name is Kiyoshi Yamauchi).
Mats leaves Niimi in February.
I am sure he had a wonderful time in Niimi, and wish him a good luck.
Tak!
Hade!
