Day 5
On Facebook, I was nominated by Dave Collymore for 10 days of favourite travel images.
According to the rule, I am supposed to choose an image from my travel photos that has had an impact on me, post without an explanation and nominate somebody to take the challenge everyday for 10 days.
But I would like to change the rule a little bit because I don't want to force anybody to take over, so my local rule is "10 travel photos, 0 nominations, 0 explanations, everyday for 10 days on Facebook".
I don't put any explanation on Facebook, but I explain the photo here on my blog instead.
The picture of Day 5 is:
This is a sunset of Mt. Mohonk taken from New Paltz Village.
Yes, I have written a lot about New Paltz in this blog, and it is a sister city to Niimi City where I live.
I have been involved in this sister city relationship since its incipiency, and thanks to that, I am enjoying a lot of friendship not only with people in New Paltz but with those in Niimi as well.
I have visited New Paltz about 20 times now since my first visit in 1999.
Of course we cannot visit each other in this COVID-19 situation now, so we recently have had a zoom meeting between the sister cities.
I used the Mohonk sunset photo as my background.
I will show some photos of Mohonk Mountain House:
