「バッタ」は季語的には初秋のようです。初秋…。いつ来てくれるんでしょうか？
話しは変わりますが、虫の多いところでは夜歩くとき、足元に気をつけないといけませんね。踏みます。すんでのところでこのバッタは飛んでくれましたが…。

"Locus" is used in Haiku as a seasonal word in early autumn. Early autumn... when will it come here...?

夕方になれば涼しい風が吹いてきて、日中の暑さから一息つける…って、いつになったら、出来るんでしょうか？
なんかよく分からんけど高気圧が二つ(も！)重なって日本列島を覆っているせいで、こげなに暑いとかなんとか…。
精神論で対応出来るレベルの暑さではもはやナイと思うので、ホントに熱中症には気をつけましょう。

When we can have cool air? Usually, even it's hot during daytime, when it's evening, we could cooler air than daytime. But it hasn't been...

This high temperatures, get over 35C, sometimes and somewhere, reach at around 40C. Unbelievable! It's impossible for anyone to be patient with that. We Have to do something for that crazy heating. Take care of that.

There is an odd glove
Dropped on the road

道に落ちている白い片手袋でした。仕事用に見えますが何用なのでしょう？ しかしこの暑さの中でこの手袋をしてする仕事とは…。いずれにせよ何にせよ、お疲れさまです！

The white odd glove has been dropped on the road. It's for some work but what it is? The work needs to wear the gloves, what kind of work...? Anyway, whatever, I thank you for what you've done!

In the evening
There were crepuscular rays
With cicadas's singing

暑い一日が暑いまま暮れようとしているときに出会いました。夕陽だから赤い色の天使のはしご、(上向きでしたが) ですね。一部の空も真っ赤っかになっていたみたいです。よく見える場所に来るまでに消えてしまいましたが。夕暮れの空は刻々と変化してゆく…。見逃していること、どんだけ多いんでしょうか。

It was a crazy hot day, even it was evening, still hot. I saw that evening sky in the photo. The crepuscular rays(indicated up though) were in red. When I came out of house, I also saw the really really red sky, that was part of sky. Before I reached at the place where I could see a wide sky, the red sky had nearly vanished. Evening sky changes its colours by the minute. How many opportunities to see evening sky would I miss?

ここのスキマ草を以前にもブログにアップしたことがあります。寒くなってきたとき見なくなったので、「枯れた？」とか思っていたのですが、暖かくなってくると顔を出してくるので、「生きてた」。姿が見えなくても着々と生きている…んですね。

I upped this Sukima-soh(let's call it "he", provisionally) on my blog before (not sure when though). When it was getting cold, he disappeared. I thought that he was dead but he wasn't. He, was getting to come out of the square hole, so he is still alive. While he doesn't show us himself, it means like he's sleeping, not dead.

なんで一輪だけ咲いているんですかね。…朝から暑いですね。

Why dose the azalea have only one flower? ...anyway, even it's morning yet, it's already hot and humid!

オサンポ walk - 文月笹(ふづきクマ？ざさ) kuma bamboo grass in July (after the match of England vs Croatia)

明け方の
雨に濡れたか
熊笹や

In early morning
It was raining
Got wet kuma bamboo grass

朝3時に起きてイングランドを応援していたんですがクロアチアに負けましたね。2-1。決勝トーナメントは全部延長戦の末の勝利、とかで、クロアチアの選手たちはどんだけタフなんでしょうか？！

そんな朝に見た、熊笹(ですか)に残ってた雨粒たち。ちょっと涼しげ、かな、と思いました。

I woke up at 3am to watch the match of England vs Croatia. I was supporting for England but the result is 2-1, Croatia won. England has one more match against Belgium to get the 3rd place. Come on England!
Im really impressed with Croatia team, how much tough they are. Their last two matches at the tournament also went over time. They won the all matches. Wow. It must be going to be a spectacular match at the final, against France!

This photo, I took it in this morning. The greens have got rain drops on them, it seems cool.....
