Promise in the Palm is to be shown in Japan Filmfest Hamburg 2020

Director Hiroshi Yamamori's film Promise in the Palm (『約束～忘れられない人がいる』) is to be shown in Japan Filmfest Hamburg 2020.

This year's is the 21st festival, and originally was planned to be held in May.

But it was once postponed until July, but was suspended, and then it was decided to be held online.

Mr. Yamamori asked me to subtitle all the lines for this international festival, and I was happy to help him.

So I really wanted to attend the festival and see the response of the audience to the movie through my English subtitles.

As this festival is done online, I can't do that now, but it is very good to see the selected films online at home.

先日の記事でも紹介させていただきましたが、新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響でオンライン開催になった第21回ハンブルク日本映画祭の上映作品になった山森 洋監督の『約束～忘れられない人がいる』、山森監督の依頼を受け、英語字幕作成をさせていただきました。

現地開催ですと、ハンブルクの映画館で上映されるのを見に行く必要があるのですが、オンライン開催となったため、日本にいながら上映作品を見ることができるようになりました。
