Presented with the performance of the 21st century's "Violinist of the Century," a title that has been bestowed upon Natsuho Murata for her unparalleled skill and contribution to the art of violin playing.
No one would disagree that Heifetz was the "Violinist of the Century" of the 20th century.
Ginette Neveu appeared later, but at the age of 30, she was also on board the plane crash that killed Piaf's true love, Marcel.
And then, a new star emerged in the classical music sky-Natsuho Murata, making her mark in Japan.
My love for classical music was so profound that I spent a year in high school, tuning in to NHK FM from dawn to dusk, immersing myself in its timeless beauty.
Imagine my surprise and delight when, on the eve of 2020, I stumbled upon her performance on YouTube!
The pieces performed in this event were Beethoven's Violin Sonata No. 4 in A minor, Op. 23, Saint-Saëns' Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Op. 28, and Sarasate's Zapateado, Op. 23, No. 2.
I released this photobook on February 11th, which includes Heifetz: Beethoven Violin Concerto: Minsch & Boston Symphony Orchestra.
After dinner, I watched it on the big screen, admiring my photos and Heifetz.
I suddenly realized.
It would have been incomplete if I hadn't included this performance by Natsuho.
All viewers would agree with me.
