北海道日高の新緑の牧場

昨日は二十四節気の小満「万物が成長して普通の大きさに達する」72候、蚕が眠りからさめて桑を食べ始める時期です。

私の大好きな薄緑の新緑の牧場が、娘婿殿から頂いたカレンダー5，6月の写真、Photo川本多武司「新緑の牧場」より。

日高山脈の西海岸浦河町の郊外に、日高種畜牧場があり、サラブレットの親子が嬉しそうに、何時の日かの勇姿を夢見てかける姿が楽しみです。

ハルジオンと万引き家族

ハルジオン別名貧乏草、腰痛で除草がままならず今年の我が家にも貧乏草のハルジオンが咲いている。

アメリカ原産キク科の二年草、帰化植物で都市近郊に多く、高さが50㎝位で5，6月に枝先に中心が黄色の細い白の花びらをつけている。

この貧乏草が生える貧乏家族をテーマにした「万引き家族」是枝作品がカンヌ映画祭で最高賞のパルムドールに輝いた。今村監督の「うなぎ」以来21年ぶりという。

リリー・フランキーさんや安藤さくらさんらと樹木希林さんのおばあちゃんの年金たよりに、子どもに万引きをさせながら暮らす貧しい一家の日常のほのかな団欒の中に暖かさがあり、ままならない家族の絆や社会のひずみを問いかけるものである。日本公開は6月からという。早く見たいものである。

Pacific Islands Summit Adopts Leaders' Declaration

The 8th Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting held substantive discussions at Spa Resort Hawaiians,a hot spring leisure complex in the city of Iwaki, on May 19. Participants wrapped up the two-day event by adopting a lesders' declaration, in which the leaders welcomed and expressed support for the steady progress of Fukushima Prefecture and Iwaki in reconstruction from the huge earthquake and tsunami in March 2011.

During the summit meeting, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said that Japan has delivered on its pledge to provide Pacific island nations with financial assistance of at lest 55 billion yen and promots human resources development and exchanges involving 4,000 people. Japan made the promise at the precious PALM gatherring in 2015, also held in Iwaki.

On additional aid to the 14 member nations of the Pacific Islands Forum, which attended the latest summit meeting, Prime Minister Abe unveiled a policy of giving support in the areas of maritime seurity and greater use of renewable energy sources, as well as promoting personnel development and exchanges for 5,000 people or more in the coming three years, mainly to strengthen disaster preparation and reponse capacity.

In addition,Japan expressed its intention to step up coopreration in sports, making use of the opportunitions offered by the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan and the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.

At Aquamarine Fukushima, an ocean science museum in Iwaki, the wives of the leaders and local high school students attended a symposium and shared an understanding about the need for better protection of the maritime environment and marine resources. END 福島民報より。　

Pacific Islands Summit Participants Visit Disaster Area

The 8th Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting opened in the city of Iwaki on May 18 with related events.

On the first day of the two-day meeting,Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and leaders from 18 nations and territories visited tsunami-affected Iwaki Kaisei High School near the Pacific coast.・・・

島サミット参加首脳らが沿岸部を視察　

第8回太平洋・島サミットは18日いわき市（スパリゾートハワイアンズ主会場）で開幕した。初日は安倍晋三首相をはじめ19か国・地域首脳が市内のいわき海星高校を視察、東日本震災の津波で被災した慰霊行事で献花した。福島民報より。

3年前のいわき市でのサミットから確実に復興している姿を肌で感じ、県産食材を使った料理を通じ食の安全性とその美味しさをアッピールした。今回新たに加わったニューカレドニア、仏領ポリネシアなど太平洋島諸国・地域の首脳らが参加して、昼食会では内堀知事のあいさつの後、和食弁当、鑑評会金賞受賞の研鑽酒などで風評払拭の発信に努めた。

新酒日本一6連覇と五木ひろしコンサート

昨日17日広島市で行われた全国新酒鑑評会で、福島県産19銘柄の新酒が金賞を受賞、史上初の6連覇を達成した。福島民報より。

昨年は22銘柄で、ほまれや花春が今回は入っていないが、若いころは栄川を頂き、奥の松にそしていわきの又兵衛を頂いていた。飲めないタイプで現在は頂いていないから、酒の批評は難しいですが・・・。しかし、調味料酒として利用しています。

三春駒、会津中将ゆり、笹正宗、萬代芳、金水晶、東豊国、名倉山、國権、學十郎、廣戸川、人気一、会津宮泉、田島、一生青春、雪小町、奥の松、弥右衛門、栄四郎、又兵衛の19銘柄。

また、昨日は、仙台の東京レフトロンホール宮城で「五木ひろしコンサート2018」午後2時から4時まで聞いた友から、終わってから電話で良かったと感動の連絡があった。

五木寛之氏の名づけで、五木ひろし（松山数夫）は1948年富山県美浜生まれ歌謡選手権で10週勝ち抜き、2007年には紫綬褒章頂いている歌謡演奏万能の方である。いわきの人から見ると仙台でのコンサートは羨ましい限りである。
