The Apartment I lived

団地～ある１棟の終わり


I had lived the apartment until my marriage.

You know "Exposition '70 in Osaka" ?
After the big event, this town was built up as Senri New Town.
There were many many children.
We had some new friends at every school term.
Of course I was one of them when I was 9 years old.

Time has gone for 40 years.

The past children are now fine adults and don't live here.
So the residents are only too old people.
The buildings are old same as them.

The apartment building is being demolished just now.

I saw an old man watching the scene for a while.
I thought he was most likely one of my neighbors.
And I saw a woman who walked by and watched up the building with tears.

3 huge apartments with 20 floors are going to be built after the destroying.
