大卒採用来春14%増 電機・鉄鋼で旺盛 理工系がけん引 本社調査

The Nikkei Shimbun compiled Saturday,on March 28,the survey on companies' plans of employment of university graduates in the spring of 2016, as the first-stage compilation.
According to the results, the number of planned employment is up 14.2 % campared with estimated figure in the spring of 2015. This is the fifth consecutive two-digit year-on-year increase.
Among what are seen in the survey results is the fact that science students wil likely get a more favorable treatment than arts students.
Thanks to such factors as good business performances and some domestic production recovery, employment mind is strong in the manufacturing industries of electric machinery and iron and steel. Even in the non-manufacturing industries, the same is the case, in some sectors like retail.
As starting time of the year when copmanies are allowed to start to hire would-be-graduate students will become later in the year than before, competition for hiring good human resources will become more fierce among companies. Nevertheless, this showing will be a favorite factor for making the economy more strong and bullish, along with this spring's pay hike results in the shunto spring labor-management negotiations.
