窯出し ／ Put out the kiln.

作陶のお客様の作品と、工房の作品とで御本手（ごほんて）の窯を焚きました。

御本手とは、還元焼成（空気を少なくして焚く窯）と、酸化（空気をたくさん取り入れる窯）の間を行く窯
と、かなり大ざっぱに説明しておきます（笑）
還元の窯を途中で酸化に転換して、特徴のある斑点を出すので、
窯出しの日までどうなっているのかは、はらはらします。

今回の窯はどうかな～？

このスティックは新店舗の壁飾りになる予定の部品です。
綺麗な斑点が出てよかった～。

朝日焼は、6月で今までの店舗を閉め、7月15日に宇治神社の斜め前に新店舗をオープンさせます。
ただ今工事中～(笑）

どんな店になるのか楽しみにしていてくださいね。
私も楽しみです。

I burned a kiln of GOHONTE.

GOHONTE is a kiln that goes between reduced firing (a kiln that burns less air) and oxidation (a kiln that takes plenty of air)
I will explain it roughly (laugh)
This kiln converts the reduced state into an oxidized state on the way and produces characteristic spots.
Therefore, I am worried about what will happen until the day of kiln removal.

This stick is a part to become a wall decoration of a new store.
It was nice that a clean spot appeared ~.

Asahi-yaki closes the store at the end of June and opens a new store diagonally before Uji Shrine on July 15.
Just now under construction ~ (haha)

Please look forward to what kind of store it will be.
I am also looking forward to it.
