トヨタ　最高益　北米好調、国内補う　４～６月

Toyota Motor Corporation has continued expanding its business successfully. According to its financial report released Tuesday, the consolidated pre-tax profit for the period from April throough June this year increased 7 percent compared with the same period a year before, making a record high ever after a 7- year interval, standing at 77.18 billion yen. When the result is analyzed by market, it is clear that brisk sales in the North America complemented the shrunk sales in Japan due to the consumption tax rate increse in April to 8 percent from 5 percent.
