Welcome Party for the delegation from Sidney Town(October 14, 2015)

The delegation from Niimi City's sister city in Canada, Sidney Town is visiting Niimi now.

They arrived in Niimi on October 13.

Niimi City and Niimi International Exchange Association had a welcome party for the delegation.


I attended the party as one of the board members of the association.

This is the delegation in 2015.



Moyor Price gave us a greeting speech.

We welcomed the delegation members with special products of Niimi, including caviar, Chiya beef and pione grapes.



There was a Kagura performance too.

I hope they will have a delightful time in Niimi.

Tomorrow (On October 16), Niimi College will welcome the Sidney delegation in the morning.

We are very much looking forward to their visit.

(We had a delegation from Sidney in 2010.)
