We had a lecture meeting at our zen temple yesterday afternoon.
About ten priests and forty five men and women attended it.
At first we recited a sutra called 'Hannya Singyo'.
After that about an hour and a half lecture was begun.
We also experienced chair Zen meditation for about 3 minutes.
This event is held every year at every temple around here in turn and it was held 11years ago at this temple.
By the way, the lecturer came from Iwate-prefecture , and he has stayed in Okayama-prefecture for about one week.
He went to some temples during the week.
He is spreading the mind of Soto Zen Buddhism and he told about spiritual enlightenment of Buddha, DNA of life that connected with every life
and importance of life and so on.
He told us that the mind of JIHI ' LOVE ' in English was very important.

It's BON time in Japan now.
Spirits of our ancestors come back to our house in BON time and we comfort ancestor's soul.

When I visit the grave of my ancestors, my feeling is eased.
