Once he had an awful experience, he will never forget it.
And he will worry about things that he doesn't have to.

Drive to viewing autumn leaves 2

2005-11-25 | scenery

There were lots of trees whose leaves had turned flaming red.

In spite of a nice spot, I saw few people there.
So it must be an unfamiliar spot yet.

Pyracantha;(Firethorn)

Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well.

I don't know  what this proverb is saying well, but I think it means that we should  do our best to anything that we are going to do.

Ducks in the pond

2005-11-21 | scenery

We see many many ducks in the pond near my house.
I don't know where they came from.
I saw them last Saturday too while I was taking a walk.
And I saw some people near the pond feeding them the other day.

During the summer season, this pond was filled with a kind of floating grass.
The grasses covered the surface of water too much, so many fish in the pond died from shortage of oxygen.

Now there is no grass on the water and the water is very clear.

A day trip 2

2005-11-15 | diary

We arrived at a hotel where we ate lunch after we went  shopping to a souvenir shop about eleven o'clock.
The view from the building was very nice.
I could see A-wa-ji-shi-ma in the distance.

As lunch was smorgasbord , I ate too much !

There were nice paper- lanterns in the room.
Tokushima is famous for A-wa-o-do-ri, so the design of the picture was like this.

Christmas decorations at the entrance hall.

After  lunch, we left for 'The Otsuka Museum of Art ' near this hotel .
The museum was the destination of this trip.

Black soybeen

2005-11-08 | plant

Shi-zu-sa-n is drying the plants of black soybeen.

After drying she takes out beans from the bean pod by patting the dried plant. Next she selects good ones from bad ones.
These series of work are very troublesome and it also needs endurance.
