The main building of our family temple that had been under construction was completed.
So a Buddhist service celebrating the new building was held yesterday.
Some little boys and girls called 'chi-go' also attended this ceremony.
They were very cute ! 
The Buddhist service by about ten priests was solemnly executed and about fifty people recited a sutra with the priests.
After that we had a party to celebrate the construction of this building. 
By the way, I was very busy in helping the party.

There was a mayoral election in Kurashiki City
yesterday.
There were three candidates including a woman .
Kaori Ito who had been a former treasurer was elected to the mayor.
She is the first female mayor in the Chugoku region.
Besides she is 41 years old now and said to be the youngest lady mayor in Japan.
As a result, present mayor Kenzo Furuichi lost his job .
I hope her to execute a good policy.

Poppy is one kind of flowers that I love.
Taking a walk, some field poppies were swinging in the wind.
Red, orange or white ones are seen here and there, but I rarely see this violet poppy.
These flowers are blooming among the weeds by the footpath in the country.
They are very cute.

It is a season of bamboo shoots now.
Ya-ta district which is near my district is famous for delicious bamboo shoots.
Farmers dig up bamboo shoots early in the morning and take it to the shop.
Yesterday my husband bought some bamboo shoots on his way from a hospital where he usually go with Shi-zu sa-n.
I boiled them with some rice bran for about an hour and cooked them for dinner.
They were very soft and delicious. 
Rain that had been falling since yesterday stopped, so I went out for a walk.<  > |
It's cloudy today and began to rain in the late afternoon.
Before noon, I went to see a shrine near my house to see cherry blossoms with my sister-in-law and my husband.
The flowers that began to bloom about a week ago are in full bloom now and some began to fall to the ground.
I enjoyed the gorgeousness of the flowers very much.
