虐待判定 AI 見送り ミス６割 実用「困難」 こども家庭庁
It is learned that Children and Families Agency postponed the adoption of the system using AI when deciding whether the child's separation from the family is needed or not in order to protect the child when the child abuse is suspected. The system is what the government has been developing since the 2021 fiscal year spending about 1 billion yen in order to assist the children consultant centers' employees who are responsible to make a final decision about the necessity of the center's protection of the child. But in the experimental stage of the system, the judgement by the system has come to be wrong in about 60 % cases. Then the agency has found out that the AI usage does not match the decision of the child abuse case and is difficult to be put into a practical operation.
