最近は彼らの曲を殆ど聴いていなかったのだが、この曲は良いな、と思った。

数日前、目覚めた時、何故か Arcade Fireのある曲が脳裏に流れていた。
YouTubeで検索して直ぐに分かったのが♪Crown of Love♪だった。
そこに、何と、9/17！の、イタリア・ミラノ、彼らのライブコンサートがあった。
始まって間もなく中央に設置した踏み台から、リードボーカルが降りようとして、見事に転んで足をくじいたシーンが出て来たのは愛嬌だったが。

その後に♪Half Light♪を始めたのは嬉しい驚きだった。

読者は御存知の様に、Arcade Fireが、大方の予想を覆してグラミー賞最優秀バンドを獲得したのには、本欄が大きな貢献を果たしたとの自負がある。
