Bon festival is from yesterday to August 16. It is said that ancestral spirits come back from heaven during Bon festival, so we serve for the spirits during this festival.
A priest came to my house for reciting a sutra on August 12.
We also visit to the grave during the festival.
So I visited the grave of my parents today.
Usually I visit there with my husband, but my husband didn't go there today because I was angry with him.
Anyhow New Year and Bon festival are two of the big events in Japan and members of the family gather together.
