藁をも掴む親の思いに・・・・

I hope you are keeping well.
I am writing to ask if you have heard of XXXXX, which is based in XXX.
I have friends who have a daughter suffering with cancer and they are considering sending her to this clinic which is a very expensive procedure.
Obviously it would be good to know if they have a good reutation in Japan, is there anything you can find out about this clinic?
Any observations would be appreciated.

Thank you very much for your frank and honest appraisal of this clinic.
Like you, I am very sceptical about the effectiveness off this treatment.

My concern is that my friends are going to sell their home in order to fund this treatment. It is my understanding that the treatment on offer is banned in most of the world which in itself should cause alam bells.
I have passed on your observations and hope that common sense prevails.

英国の友人からのメールが1週間前に来ました。その友達の娘さんが癌になったので、家を売ってでも日本のクリニックで治療を受けさせたい。ついては意見をくださいと来たので、絶対反対だと書いた。

長い取引先です。（コーヒー関係ではない）30年以上取引が続いています。

何かご意見や言い方法がありましたら助言下さい。クリニックの名前、所在地は伏せました。
