According to sources, in the Internet mail order major companies of Japan and China wil have a tie-up with each oter.

Japan's second-ranked Yahoo is going to complete linking its mail order site with that of China's top-ranked Taobao by the summer this year. This linking will make people buy Japanese goods from China and buy Chinese goods from Japan.

Rakuten, Japanese top dealer, will start the Internet mail order in China along with Bidu,major Chinese search engine operator,in the latter half of this year.

As the Internet mail order market in Chinese has been expanding rapidly with the 2009 amount of values of it reaching more than 3 trillion yen, Japanese companies are pursuing to capitalize on the boom.

It is learned that in the 2009 world M&A (merger and acquisition) market the amount of values of the M&As by China exceeded that by Japan for the first
time.China's amount reached 209.2 billion dollars in fiscal 2009, up 37 precent compared with the previous year.

With a very high economic growth serving as a tail wind, Chinese firms and the government-affiliated funds made them conspicuous in the world financial market taking over firms of the U.S. and Europe one after another.

マグロの乱獲対策強化　農水省検討　輸入全量に漁獲証明　資源保護　姿勢示す　値上がり要因に

The Ministry of Agriculture,Forestry an Fisheries began Saturday to investigate how to intensify the measures aginst poaching and too much catching of the tuna.
The policy's pillar is expanding categories of tunas for whose imports into Japan submission of fishing certificates by dealers should be necessary. At present, a bluefin tuna is included, and further a bigeye tuna and yellowfin tuna also could be included.

Another specific measure is dispatching a patrol ship together with the U.S. and European countries in order to prevnt illegal fishing from taking plce.

These are aimed at easing the international opinion arising among signatories of the Washington Convention that Japan should make more efforts in the resources management as the world's largest importer and consumer.

In these circumstances Japan is in the direction for showing its stance of preserving the resources to world, which has a possiblity of the price increase.
