According to sources, the State Strategy Office of the government has decided to intoduce so-called policy achievement target manifestation scheme.
The Democratic Party of Japan touted some policies as its features of its manifesto presented in the House of Represntatives election last year.
Under the scheme there should be a specific target or a criterion for measuring the achievment of each policy the government has implemented, and if each acievement is high then you can say that there is an effect in the policy implementation. If the effect is viewed not so high,it should be reflected on the budgetary allocation for the years of fiscal 2012 and ahead.
Against the backdrop of this,there seems to have occured the need to flexibly revise the DPJ's political pledges in the future.
