I’ve started this blog because I would like to introduce my ideas about healthy and nutritious food from Japan and other countries to people around the world.
Let me first tell you a little bit about myself.
I’m a married Japanese lady living in Chiba prefecture, near Tokyo.
I’m a trained nutritionist who very much enjoys cooking and learning about healthy and nutritious dishes from around the world.
I have strong views about tasty and healthy food and how the tastes and ingredients should be balanced for flavour, nutrition and presentation.
The main reason for me starting this blog is that I feel that many people, especially young women, have a fear of eating, perhaps because they are worried about putting on weight.
Eating is an essential part of living, both for ensuring you have enough energy, vitamins and minerals for the day, and also for enjoying life.
If you eat well and healthily, you don’t have to worry so much about gaining weight, because you will naturally stay slim.
People who eat a traditional diet in Japan and Mediterranean countries look and feel naturally healthy and are full of radiant energy.
I would like to introduce dishes from these countries and other healthy and tasty dishes from around the world.
