環境インフラ支援4900億円 上下水道など途上国向け G20で政府表明へ 民間資金の減少穴埋め
According to sources,the government will establish a new loan scheme of the 50 billion dollars( about 490 billion yen) in total that helps developing countries in Asia and other areas build the environmental infrastructure, such as water supply and sewage facilities and solar power generation stations. It is to announce this idea in the upcoming G-20 finance ministers and central bank governors meeting opened on the 13th evening ( Japan Standard Time;dawn of the 14th) in the outskirts of London. At present,due to the current financial crisis going on, a lot of funds have been flowing out from the so-called developing countries, which is one of the worries for such coutries.The Japan's initiative is aimed at bridging the gap and enhancing the image of Japan in the international community.
