Event of the eqinoctial week

We had two guests today.
They visited graves of our ancestors nearby and afer that they came to my house.
They prayed both at the grave and at the Buddhist alter in my house.

We enjoyed chatting and having 'ki-na-ko-mo-chi';a kind of rice cake which were made by my mother-in-law for lunch.

This year the autumn equinox is September 23.
There is a saying;The heat or cold lasts only until equinox..

Which do you like ?

We can see the flower of 'cosmos' here and there.
They are swaying in the wind.
We also call the flower 'a-ki-za-ku-ra' in Japanese.

In spring, 'cherry-blossoms' charm the Japanese.
The flower blooms only a short while.
So the people like them all the more for that.

Now in fall, 'cosmos' is blooming.

Each flower has its own fascination.

Which do you like better, 'cherry blosoms' or 'cosmos'?

It is too difficult to answer the question.

Wonder of nature

Yesterday was the entrance day of 'HIGAN'.

Every year 'Hi-ga-n-ba-na' or 'Ma-n-jyu-sya-ge' bloom aronnd HIGAN.
They bloom here and there like the light.
Though the flower is generally associated with the grave, they are beautiful.
