According to sources, the Health,Labor and Welfare Ministry likely will its regulation on the medicine partly relaxed in fiscal 2009 so that convenience stores will be able to sell some medicine, such as a cold remedy or a painkiller, to people, ender some donditions.The ministry intends to make it into enforcement in April next year, with the related ministerial ordinance for the revised Pharmaceutical Affairs Law reviewed.Selling the vitamin through the Internet or using the catalogue also will become possible.In this movement,pharmaceutical companies are obliged to indicate each medicine's efficacy and its side effect in the decided three grades so that people can get it at a glance.
