エレベーターの乗車時間が長いからである。

このことのデータは既にある。

東京23区の1万人あたりの新型コロナウィルス感染者数マップである。

これを見ると（5月1日現在公開のデータ）、港区10.3人、新宿区8.7人、渋谷区6.5人、中央区5.1人となっている。

これに対して、周辺区の江戸川区1.6人、足立区1.5人、北区1.9人、板橋区1.6人、荒川区1.3人と周辺区が圧倒的に少ない。

この違いは、緊急事態宣言が出される前ならば、周辺区は住宅街で低層住宅が多く、流入が少ないということで説明できたであろう。

 

しかし、緊急事態宣言がだされてから、かなり時間がたっていることから、住宅街は低層が多く、ビジネス街は高層が多いというだけでは、説明として、不十分である。

そもそも、都心の港、渋谷、新宿、中央区には周辺の県から流入が1日当たり280万人もあるからである。

そもそも、密なのだ言われれば、反論できない。

緊急事態宣言が出て、7割ほど減ったとは言え。

 

そこで、この地図の都心周辺区の住宅街と思われている、杉並区と世田谷区を比較してみよう。

人口は、世田谷区のほうが杉並区の2倍以上あるが、人口1万人あたりの感染者数なので、人口は無視していい。

世田谷区の人口1万人あたりの感染者数4.1人。

杉並区の人口1万人あたりの感染者数3.1人。

ちょうど1人違う。

この差は、なんだろう？

世田谷区も杉並区も住宅街が多い。

しかし、世田谷区は246号沿いに比較的高い建築物が多い。

つまり、エレベーターの供用数が多いと思われる。

対して、杉並区は中央線沿いに駅前繁華街はあるが、世田谷区に比較すると高層ビル、高層マンション、高層ホテルは比較的少ないと考えられる。

平均すれば。

この違いが、感染者数の違い１人になって表れていると考えている。

以上述べたことから、エレベーターは3密が避けられない非常に危険な移動手段ということが言える。

 

したがって、エレベーター内の空間や壁等が新型コロナウィルスに汚染されないよう、細心の注意を高層ビルの管理者や勤務者、住民、利用者は払わねばならない。

 

具体的には、できるだけ少人数で乗車して、感染リスクを減らす。

エレベーターに何人くらい乗車しているか、外部から分かるようにする。

（これは、犯罪の危険もあるので、なかなか難しいが）

エレベーター内の空気が強制換気されるか、除菌されるような装置を早急に開発する。

など、緊急事態宣言解除に向けて、具体的な方策を早急に立てる必要がある。

 

そうでないと、エレベーターから新型コロナウィルスの感染が、急速に拡大するということが考えられるのである。

この問題は高層ビル、高層マンションだけの問題ではなく、デパート、ショッピングモールなどあらゆる場所に設置されているエレベーターについて言えることである。

我々が今できることは、できるだけエレベーターには乗らないようにするしかないが、現に居住したり、勤務したりする人にとっては、そうはいかない。

早急に、具体策を国や各府県、区、市が主導して立てていくべきであろう。

 

もちろん、民間も国の沙汰を待つのではなく、さっさと対策を立てる必要がある。

なぜなら、そんな危険なエレベーターのある高層ビル、デパート、ホテル、ショッピングセンター等は、誰も利用する気にならないからである。
