The following is from Masahiro Miyazaki's book titled WORLD RESET 2021, The World on the Verge of a Great Crash, published on June 1, 2021.
It is no exaggeration to say that Masahiro Miyazaki has surpassed Tadao Umesao in uninterrupted intellectual production.
This book is a must-read not only for the Japanese people but also for people worldwide.
The emphasis in the text is mine, except for the headings on p2-p11.
Prologue: The Clash between the U.S. and China Will Produce New Trends and Bipolarize the World Map
China cannot catch up with Japan even after 100 years
The world cataclysm was brought about by the corona disaster, with China as the main culprit.
Basically, "Even after a hundred years, we can't go beyond the West. Then let's change the soil." China's ambition for hegemony led to the start of unprecedented, super-injunction drastic changes.
"The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has the arrogant hubris that "China will decide the basic rules," "China will formulate the new world order," and "I will be the game-changer."
It can be clearly perceived from the demeanor and wording of those executives.
As State Councilor Yang Jiechi (former Foreign Minister) said at the US-China top foreign affairs meeting (Alaska, March 18-19, 2021), "The attitude of inviting guests is rude. The United States interferes with China's internal affairs. Don't do it." It clearly appears in the arrogance that says.
China's rulers know nothing about economic policy, and everything they do know is wrong.
It is common knowledge among those involved that there is a gap of more than five years in technology between China and Taiwan, even in the case of a single semiconductor project that China is undertaking on a national scale.
Are Huawei and ZTE leading the world in 5G?
It is at the level of ground stations and communication systems, with Japan, the U.S., Taiwan, and South Korea holding the core technologies, and the O.S. and software installed on them being made in the U.S.
For example, Huawei's smartphone O.S. is Google's Android.
To put China's ambitions in simple terms, it has declared that it will take the lead in the keystone role for setting rules for space, aviation, military, trade, currency, etc., and that "China will be the game-changer."
When I thought this trend would not happen, the West got involved in the E.V. (electric vehicle) project.
The motivation is the Paris Agreement, which is full of pretty words.
It results from the modern disease of obsession with the tidal wave of "2050 decarbonization" (carbon neutrality).
Decarbonization in 2050 is not feasible.
Forty years ago, it told us that nuclear fusion would take another 40 years, and 40 years later, it decommissioned the experimental fusion reactor.
An unusual phenomenon caused by the corona disaster occurred in the stock market.
The stock price in the U.S. has increased tenfold in the past 30 years.
In Japan, however, the stock market has remained flat for the past 30 years.
In other words, it only took 30 years for the stock market to recover to its original level finally. But that was a short-lived event.
The country was suffering from chronic deflation, the birth rate was slowing sharply, and the GDP was downward. Japan had been left behind.
The corona broke out in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, and quickly spread globally, changing the entire world.
On April 1, 2021, the death toll in the United States alone exceeded 550,000. More than 3 million people died worldwide.
It is the worst situation in history.
Nevertheless, the World Health Organization (WHO), which is under the influence of China, issued a nonsensical report saying that "the cause cannot be determined" using unintelligible abbreviations such as "COVIT-19."
Former President Trump clearly called it "Wuhan Corona" and said he would "hold them accountable."
However, when the Biden administration came into power, they banned the name by executive order.
If this is the case, it will be impossible to hold China accountable.
On March 4, 2021, the Pew Research Center, a U.S. public opinion research organization, released the results of a survey on Americans' feelings toward China.
It chose the timing to be the day before the National People's Congress. The results showed that 34% of respondents said that China is an enemy, 55% said it is a competitor, and 9% said it is a partner. And "partner" accounted for 9%.
Among Republican supporters only, 64% said China was an enemy. Forty-three percent said they "don't trust President Xi Jinping at all," and when "not very trustworthy" was added to the total, more than 80% had a negative view of China.
A quarter of the respondents answered that "economic relations should be prioritized even if there is no progress on human rights issues," as promoted by the Biden administration. The remaining 70% answered that "human rights issues should be prioritized even if economic relations deteriorate," recognizing the seriousness of the Uyghur, Hong Kong, and Tibet issues.
In the face of such a change in public opinion (it seems a lie that the U.S. and China used to call each other "stakeholder" and "G2" until the Obama era) and the anti-China slant, it will be difficult for the pro-China Biden to restore the deep relationship with China.
