On Sunday the Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, also serving as the president of the Liberal Democratic Party, announced the LDP's decision that regarding illegal account reports on their political activities related to the party's faction fund-raising parties it would not approve the 6 members who got a strict penalty from the party and have not finished fully accounting for their behaviors to be the party's candidates in the coming general elections for the House of Representatives. Beside them, if there is no application from the regional chamber for the member who did make an illegal account report of their activities, they will not be approved to be a party's candidate. And also, registering their candidacy in the proportional representation constituency would not be allowed for the illegal-account-report members
