The Yomiuri Shinbun carried out an opinion poll on the going-on elections for the House of Representatives seats two days on both the 15th and the 16th, targeting eligible voters across the country, and analyzed the situation in the initial stage. As a result, ruling parties of the Liberal Democratic Party and Komeito are likely to secure more than half of all the seats of 465. However, the LDP is having a hard time facing the scandal of "politics and money." On the contrary, the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan is gaining momentum to get more seats than before. But the Innovation Paty of Japan is in bad shape with a possibility of its seats decreasing.
