He also met some leaders form those countries on the sidelines of the meeting. So, he made his diplomatic debut as prime minister of Japan. When the summit meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang, Ishiba and Li confirmed the importance of the two countries promoting the strategic reciprocal relationship where they will help each other expanding the common benefits. And when the summit meeting with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, the two confirmed that they will promote the so-called shuttle diplomacy between the two countries.
