私があまり才子を買わないのは、才子というのは往々にして、今日をおろそかにする傾向があるからです。

才子はその才知ゆえになまじ先が見えるから、つい、今日一日をじっくり生きる亀の歩みを厭い、脱兎のごとく最短距離を行こうとする。しかし、功を焦るあまり、思わぬところで足をとられることもまた少なくありません。
A person with talent can see the future simply because of their brightness, and like to choose the shortest way to the goal just like a rabbit, disliking a turtle's slow pace of living a day carefully. However, there are many opportunities they make an unexpected failure due to haste after achievement.
