１ まんしゅうでしゅうせん、、、。そのとき、わたしは４さい。おとうとは１さい。 わたし
1 I was in Manshu (Manchuria, China) at the end of World War II. I was four years old, and my brother was a year old.
２ ちちがぴすとるをもってきた。「これでみんなでしのう。」
2 My father came back home with a gun. “ Let’s die together by this.”
３ いやよ！ぜったいいや！
3 Nooooo！ I absolutely don’t want to die!
４ ははのはげしいていこうで ちちはあきらめた、、、。おかげでいまいきています。
4 My father gave up because of my mother’s strong refuse. Thanks to her, I am alive now.
