こんなにネコがいるとは知らなかった。
この子たちは、本当はネコではなく、実は夜になるとキツネになるに違いない、、、と私たちは言い合ったのでした。

I didn't know that there are many cats in Fushimi Inari Shrine.
We talked each other, these cats aren't truly cats, they must transforme fox in the night.

横道から普通の道への合流地点まで来て、普通の道に戻りほっとした。
何千ものお稲荷さんに囲まれているというのは、なんとも落ち着かない、、、。
When we came back to the general path, I felt relieved.
To be surrounded by thousand fox makes me nervous...
四辻の茶屋でお昼にした。きつねうどん。
At Yotsu Tsuji Chaya, we took a lunch, Kitsune Udon.
茶屋で特等席に座った。いい眺めだ。
We seated in the best place, we saw a nice landscape.
お昼の後、眼力社に行った。
眼力社は、目の神様。
美しかった。
After lunch, we went to Ganriki Sha.
Ganriki Sha is a shrine of eyes.
It was very beautiful...
また四辻へ戻ってきた。
We came back to Yotsu Tuji.

いつも脇道をちょっと行ってみるのが好きだ。その方がわくわくするから。
予想外の出来事が起こりそうで。
稲荷山へ登り始めてすぐに横道にそれてしまった。
そこにはたくさんの滝があった。
滝と言っても、自然の滝ではなく、修行のための人工的な滝だった。
I always try to take a side way, because it makes me excited.
I want that it happened unexpected things...
We went to a side way for Mt.Inari after starting soon.
We found there are many water falls.
They are not natural water falls, but artificial one, for trainning of Buddhist priest.
とても静かで、うっそうとしていて、苔むしていて、隠れた場所だった。
こんなにもたくさんのお稲荷さんがいるとは知らなかった。とても怖かった。
一人で来たのなら、たぶん怖くていられなかった。
There is a very silent, deep forest, there are moss, and hide place.
I didn't know there are thousand of fox, I was very afraid, if I came here alone, I couldn't stay here.

こんなに混雑している伏見稲荷大社は見たことがない！
とはいっても、私が伏見稲荷に来たことがあるのはたったの３回で、これが４回目なのだった。
前はもっと人が少なかった。
今やここは最も人気のある京都の観光スポットだ。
I never saw such crowded Fushimi Inari Shrine!
But I've been here only three times, it is the forth times for me.
There were few people before...
Now here is the most popular shrine for sight seeing Kyoto!
入り口にいるお稲荷さんはとてもかわいい顔をしているが、他のお稲荷さんは怖い、、、。顔がきつい。
The fox are very pretty in entrance, but another fox make me scare...their faces are so strict.
さあ、稲荷山へ登ろう！
Let's climb up Mt. Inari!
竹林があった。
We saw a bamboo forest.
そういうつもりではなかったのだが、私たちはすぐに横道にそれてしまったのだった、、、。
It was not our plan, but we didn't walk a general path, turned into a side path soon...

人生二度目の紅葉シーズンの京都へ。
京都へは今までに何度来ているのかもうわからないが、紅葉の時期に来るのはこれが二回目だ。
初めて紅葉を見に来た時、それはそれは感動した。
なんでこんなに紅いのだろう！
その時の感動は一生忘れることはないだろう。
今回は鞍馬山に登る予定だった。でもできなかった。
京都に着いた時には大丈夫だったが、お昼ご飯の後に急に具合が悪くなってしまった。
しょうがない、鞍馬登山計画はあきらめることにした。
鞍馬山に登る代わりに、稲荷山に登ることにした。
結局すごく楽しかったのだけど。
数日に分けて書きます。

I don't know how many times did I've been to Kyoto...
But, it was my second time to go to Kyoto in my life to look for Autumn colors.
For the first time, I was really really moved with these red colors...
I will never forget it in my life.
This time, I wanted to climb up to Mt.Kurama, but I couldn't.
When I arrived at Kyoto, I was OK, but after lunch I suddenly felt sick....
No way, I abbandaned my plan.
Instead climbing Mt.Kurama, I climbed Mt.Inari.
After all, I enjoyed it very much!
I write about it in several days.
