英国にいたのは30年以上前の20歳代だった。
その頃、英語の個人レッスンを受けていた先生から葉書が届いた。
Dear, Shin, I have been meaning to drop you a line for ages, knowing
your interest in finance (ofcourse!) & hoping it wasn't affecting your
personal circumstances too much. I recall your feeling me once in
our conversation lessonns, that if a recession is on the way, nothing
can be done to stop it, only to deal with it.
I hope yourself & family are well & happy (except regarding my words
above) & that your parents are in as good health as may be at our age~~
I'm 82 in Nov. I had a fall backwards down an escalator in Aug.
My cellar bone has headed but I don't feel very sharp. Regards.
