東亜地域の大水害

　本邦の被害も結構なものだが、それは本邦の基準で結構な規模だということであって、世界的には「幸い、被害は限定的なものにとどまった」くらいの評価になるだろうか…というか中国がひどすぎる。

　母親に叫びつつ濁流に呑まれていく10歳の娘。母はそれを近くの木の枝にしがみつきながら見送るしかない。濁流の中、娘の手を引きちぎられた父親のほうの苦衷はまた別だが。

The strong currents ripped Miao from her father's grip as floods, triggered by incessant rains, chased the family of three to the roof of a neighbour's house.

Her mother, clinging to a tree branch, watched helplessly. That was the last time she saw Miao. More than 10 days have passed but the couple has heard no news about their daughter.」

　10日過ぎたが、まだ娘の遺体は見つからない。…まあ、どこの濁流につかまったかにもよりますが、大人の背二人分ほどの水量に呑まれて見つかる方がおかしい、という評価もありえる。というか無理だよ…。仄聞した限りじゃ、400万冊を収容していたブックセンターが丸ごと廃棄。それ、水量と水深とがそれだけあったというわけで…。

　で。中国のほうのプーさんは被災現地を見に行ったりしてないという。ロシアのプーさんも前線には行きたくない類の人ですよね確か。気が合って結構なことです、個人の友誼の点では。
