コロナウィルス対策特別措置：難民希望者を門前払い

　既存の難民関係法規を上書きする特設規定を用いて6300名ほどを送り返した。ををーい…そーゆーとこだぞー…。

　…しかし、これはこれで「一般市民」の隠然たる支持を得るだろうなあという気も、果てしないほどにする。しかも『「今は」アメリカ合衆国は危ないよ、君を死なせるコロナウィルスが流行しているからね、「ちょっとしばらくの間」入国は無理なんだ…』という人道的な装いの言い訳までついてくる親切設計の排外主義行動である…。いやまあ、自分で書いててもちょっと悪魔的だと思うけど。

「The US has expelled more than 6,300 undocumented migrants on its Mexico border using emergency powers to curb coronavirus spread, officials say.

The 21 March public health measure lets officials override immigration laws, expediting removal processes.」

　批判者は、これは従来のトランプ政権的反移民政策を強化する手法として用いられる恐れがというわけだが、ほら、「まだ」コロナウィルスが流行してない地域にいるほうが安全でしょう…？という蕩けるような誘惑の言葉が耳元で聞こえる気がしますな。

　それにここ最近、不法移民希望者も減ってきたようだし…（根本的に、旅行規制がなされているおかげであろうと）？

　…かんっぺきに「自然に」外部の人間を入れないための優しい理屈が立ちまくってますな。「移民問題じゃないですよ？　これは公衆衛生の問題です（「 "This is not about immigration. This is about public health," he told reporters. 」）」
