日本人の妻とカナダ人の夫で、カナダへ里帰りの夫婦と息子3歳くらい、そこで息子が発熱、ちちょう熱と言って朝は下がっているのに午後から高熱になるそれ。旦那の親はカルトの一種で祈れば治ると医者も薬も与えず、毎朝熱がないときは祈りが効いたと心配ない。日本人の妻は１週間同じ状態が続いて治らないので家族全部の反対を押し切って医者に見せ、抗生物質で治癒しました。恐ろしいカルト

拝み屋さんや占い師さんはうまいこと医者につなげるのだとも聞きますが、新興カルトはそのへん、下手みたいですねー…。
死んだり、下手に障害のこしたりしたら、そのぶん顧客が減るのに、なんでこう不合理な行動をとるものか…とも思うのです。
その息子さんは救われて幸運でしたねえ。
