The Ministry of Land,Infrastructure and Transport has worked out the measures for preventing bid-riggings.According to the plan,the areas for general competitive biddings are expanded. For example,the level of public works size over which the bidding must be done on a basis of the general competitive bidding,and which is now decided at 200 million yen for an expected construction cost,for the central government's public works projects,will be lowerd. Another move is that municipalities,including towns and villages, newly establish construction companies' entry standards.
