It is learned that there was an accident that an elderly couple had died from carbon monoxide poisoning at a house in Higashi-nada Ward, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, on the evening of February 10.Osaka Gas Co.,which had sold its product whose mulfunction is believed to be one of the accident's causes, announced on Monday that there had been the same three cases in the period between the 8th and 13th eras of Heisei, and of them two people died. As to the two cases, the company did not release them because the reason of the accidents is not defects of its products. But the company said on the day that reflecting on them, the way we took at those times might be now judged by the public as not appropriate.
