トヨタ、いすずに生産委託 年20万基、欧州市場向け 低公害ディーゼルエンジン いすず 北海道に新工場
Toyota Motor Corporation will entrust the production of the eco-friendly diesel engine to Isuzu Motors Limited, with which it has a capital alliance.Isuzu will build a new plant in Hokkaido,with money of about 3 million yen invested.The production is expected to begin in around 2012. The current plan is that Isuzu will supply about 200,000 engines a year for the Toyota vehicles which is to be sold in European markets.
