Japan and U.S governments have decided the policy to adopt the system where the two countries' private companies can share the defense-related technological information and transfer their information to others in terms of joint research and development activity of the defense technology. Within the month, the policy will be applied,first of all,to the joint development project of the missile defense system.With regard to the policy,how to handle classified information would be a problem to be solved.

The Financial Services Agency has decided to accelarate its deregulation policy of the business areas where under the current regulation only trust companies or banks are allowed to do business. Specifically, it started to discuss how NPO and lawer's office will be able to do the trust business like retirement allowance management or the procedure of property succession from 2008. As to money lendings to corporates,which are the central part of banking business,under the new regulation insurance companies,both life insurance and indemnity insurance companies,would be organizing companies in coordinated lendings by multiple companies.
