MAYDAY! MAYDAY!
We took our children to a restaurant named the Captain's Table. Our youngest went to the bathroom but soon returned, confused and embarrassed.
"Couldn't you find the way?" I asked him.
"Oh, I found it," he replied, legs crossed. "But I don't know if I'm a buccaneer or a wench."
辞書を見ると: "buccaneer" は "someone who robs at sea or plunders the land from the sea without having a commission from any sovereign nation" つまり海賊ですね。 そして、"wench" は "informal terms for a (young) woman" とありました。
