第８回琉球継承言語会のお知らせです。
琉球継承言語会シンポジウムのお知らせ
皆さまこんにちは。沖縄キリスト教学院大学の新垣友子です。ヴェニスにいるパトリックさんに代わり、前田達朗さんと石原昌英さんと一緒に事務局運営を手伝っています。
琉球継承言語会の第8回国際シンポジウムは2016年3月19〜20日（土／日）に琉球大学で行います。今回のシンポジウムは「琉球諸語のドキュメンテーションとリバイタライゼーション」というテーマで、しまくとぅば継承活動をしている方々を招き、情報の共有を行いたいと思っています。関連する研究発表も募集しておりますので、以下の項目に関する返信をお願いいたします。「琉球諸語のドキュメンテーションとリバイタライゼーション」以外であっても、しまくとぅばに関する発表であれば、受理することにいたします。
(1) 出席の可否
(2) 研究発表の題名（仮題でも可）
(3) 琉球継承言語会から発表依頼状を必要とするかどうか
このメールに返信の形で2月15日（金）までにお返事をお願いいたします。近日中に会場
とシンポジウムについての詳細をお知らせします。

Dear colleagues,
We would like to announce the date and the venue of the forthcoming international symposium on Ryukyuan heritage languages. This 8th symposium will be held at University of the Ryukyus on 19-20 March 2016. The symposium will focus on the documentation and revitalization of Ryukyuan languages. Other strands of research related to Shimakutuba are also welcome.
Please indicate whether
(1) you can attend,
(2) you want to give a presentation, and if so, what the title is.
(3)you need an official letter of invitation from the Ryukyuan Heritage Language Society.
We look forward to your reply before January 15th 2016. We will provide further details on the venue and the symposium in the near Future.
