夕暮れの田園に立ちました I stood in the country of the evening.

　私は、水戸市と笠間市の境界付近に立っております。
黄金色の夕日さんが、山間の田んぼさんを照らしています。
I am standing in the vicinity of the boundary of Mito City and Kasama City.
A golden color evening sun shines on the rice field in the ravine.



静かな夕暮れです。
ヒグラシさんが、鳴き始めました。
長い長い、田んぼさんの歴史を思いました。
It was a quiet evening.
Tanna japonensis began to bark.
I considered the history of a very long tilling in the rice field.



　近くには、歴史のある鎮守の森さんが、点在しています。
６世紀に建造された古墳群もあります。
Forests in the village shrine who has the history are scattered to be near.
There is an old tomb group built in the sixth century, too.



この日は、西の空に、黒い雲がありました。
黒い船のように、不気味に浮かんでいました。
There were black clouds in the western sky on this day.
It was eerily floating like black ships.



黒い雲の間にあっても、お天道様は、輝きを放ち続けていました。
その神々しい輝きは、昔も今も、変わりません。
The sun kept shining even in case of being between black clouds.
The divine shine doesn't change old times and now.



　危機は、いつの時代にもありました。
一番最初に、お天道様が輝かないような、絶体絶命の危機も体験しました。
そんな時でも、あきらめませんでした。
There was a crisis in all ages.
A desperate crisis that the sun did not shine most first was experienced.
Then, ancestors did not give it up however.



まず、皆で、知恵を出し合いました。
奇想天外な作戦もありました。
そして、得意な役割を分担して、勇気をもって実行しました。
First of all, everyone pooled wisdom.
There was an out-of-this-world strategy, too.
And, everyone had courage allotting a good role and executed it.



その結果、再び、お天道様は輝きました。
それ以来、幾多の危機を乗り越えて、今も輝いております。
As a result, the sun shone again.
The sun is drunk, gets over the hardship many since then, and shines now.



長い歴史が続いてきたのは、皆様の協力のお陰です。
協力して、水路を築き、田んぼさんを開墾しました。
そして、大切な水を分かちあいました。
It is a favor of cooperation of everybody that a long history has continued.
Everyone built the waterway by cooperating, and reclaimed from rice field.
And, everyone divided important water each other.



虫さん鳥さんたちとも、分かち合いました。
長い年月、持続するためには、謙虚であることが大切です。
It divided with insects and birds each other.
The humble heart is important to extend to the long tract of years and to continue.



お天道様に感謝して、謙虚に努力を続ける。
その結果、美しい田園を絶やさなかった歴史。
謙虚でない考えの人々とともに、より深く学びたいものです。
There were people who had kept making an effort in modesty in appreciation for a divine shine of the sun.
As a result, the history of succeeding to the beautiful country continued.
We want to learn more deeply together with people of an idea not modest.
