工業ガス各社 半導体向け供給削減 電子機器生産影響も ヘリウムガス 米設備改修で減産
Japan's Industrial gas companies like Taiyo Nippon Sanso and Iwatani International Corporation have decided to reduce their supply of helium gas,which is used in making semiconductors or flat-panel television sets,to their domstic client companies from October. This is because of decrease of helium gas supply from the U.S., which is one of the world's major supplyers. In the U.S., large-scale repair works of facilities in the gas fields are slated to begin soon, and the decrease is expected.It seems that there is a possibility that domestic electronics makers would be largely influence by this decision.
