The government has decided basic plan regarding a new tax-paying system where people will be able to pay national taxes through convenience stores across the country, from 2008.Acording to the plan,10 major convenience store operators,such as Seven-Eleven Japan and Lawson,will take part in the scheme,starting next January,with as many as some 40-thousand stores across the country treated as the windows.Targeted taxes are national taxes whose amounts have already been decided and their upper limit is 300-thousand yen.Thus,people come to be able to pay the tax even on holidays and in the night-time.
