Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has a business plan in cooperation with Royal Dutch Shell that they will develop and put into operation the plant by which they will collect massive carbon dioxide generated from power plants and send it into oil field in order to increase the production of crude oil.They have already started negotiation with a Middle East state-run petroleum company and expect to get the first order from it next year.On the other hand, JGC Corporation has developed the technology by which the emission of carbon dioxide from a chemical plant will be reduced by as much as 90%.In the situation that the discussion on " after Kyoto Protocol" is going on, various kinds of business chances will come out.These efforts mentioned here are, of course, some examples.
