富士重、ダイハツと提携 中型車と軽・小型車 相互供給へ 富士重への出資 トヨタ、拡充も視野
It is learned that Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. will have an alliance with Daihatsu Motor Co.,Ltd.,a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation, in the production of passenger cars.They have already entered the satge of detailed negotiations in the direction that Fuji Heavy Industries will supply mid-sized vehicles and Daihatsu Motor will supply light and small vehicles for each other in a domestic market.Fuji Heavy Industries,in which Toyota Motor has now a stake of 8.7%,is eyeing the expansion of capital alliance with Toyota Group. In other words, Toyota Motor is considering increasing its sake in Fuji Heavy Industries.
