--------------------------------------------

I visited Bosnia and Herzegovina last year.
Marco, who was our tour bus driver, told us two episodes about his experience of the war.
I was very impressed and moved by his story.
With Marco.

Episode 1

As a bus driver, he went across borders between ethnic regions.
One day, when he was driving his bus, a soldier with a gun stopped his bus and asked him,
"Where are you going?".
Marco answered him, "I drive the bus route from XX to XX for more than ten years.
And then that soldier looked like feeling nonsense about what he did, he sighed and threw away his gun on the road.

Episode 2

It happened when he was driving his bus to evacuate children from the battle field. The children on the bus, they trembled hard, he asked " Why are you trembling?", they answered " Because we have to go through the zone where enemies are, then we will might be killed."

Marco said," It's OK. Don't worry."

When they passed the enemies’ place, soldiers stopped the bus.
The soldier had a lot of blackberries, and said, “Give these to the children.” and handed them to Marco.

I was very impressed by these stories.

Thanks to Taida, the interpreter, I could listen to such good stories.
I appreciate her, and Marco.

The war was finished about 20 years ago, so young people around 20 years old and teenagers don't know the war.

But around 30 years old and same ages with me and more aged people know about the before and time and after the war.

Just over 35 years old men, they were 18 to 20 years old at that time, really battled each other with guns.

I heard the story that they had to shoot their friends.

This is a board that curved the names of war victims of football players.

They all died from 1992 to 1995, they are same ages with me if they're alived.
I feel so painful.

In old Yugoslavian age, no matter their ethnics and religions, they gathered and eat together drink tea, laughed together.

A woman said even now we also are together, "Nothing changed, I don't know at all why the war happened."

I saw a documentary TV program about Bosnia war.

A Bosniac man who immigrated in Great Britain, he visited his village, where it happened an ethnic clensing.

It made me remember Nazi and Masacre.

The Bosnia war is not a war before 70 years ago, but only 20 years ago.
