　ペルーがヴェネズエラ人の入国審査を厳しくしよう、としたら直後に亡命申請が殺到したという。

「The UN - whose migration agency has warned that the continent faces a refugee "crisis moment" similar to that seen in the Mediterranean in 2015 - is setting up a special team to co-ordinate the regional response.」

　そりゃまあペルーだって、言いたいことはあるわな：

「Ecuador provided buses to take Venezuelans across its territory from the Colombian border to the Peruvian border」

　慣例としてパスポートなしでの通行を認めてきたとはいえ―恐らくはそれによって低廉な労働者を確保して一定の利益を得たのであろうとはいえ、まあその、なんぼなんでも、と：

「The Andean Community trading bloc - which includes Ecuador and Peru - also allows visa and passport-free travel for its citizens, although Venezuela withdrew from the grouping in 2006.」

　なおエクアドルからペルー行きのバスが出ていて、”人道回廊”なんて呼び方はするものの、あからさまにエクアドルの利害によて運営されてもいるよな、と言う点：

「Throughout Friday evening Venezuelans kept arriving, many in government-commandeered buses that had brought them from the Colombia-Ecuador border.
It was called a humanitarian corridor but, of course, it was one that was in Ecuador's interests, too.」

　私利の追及が僅かでも入ればそれは善ではない、という見方もあるが、この場合は割とはっきりと私欲の要素が目立つ。いえまあ仕方ないんでしょうが。
